Skaza’s Automotive is a licensed, RMS (Previously RTA) approved check station.
An e-safety inspection, also known as a pink slip, is a requirement for NSW registration renewal for vehicles over five years old. The e-safety check ensures older vehicles continue meet the safety criteria outlined by the NSW Roads & Maritime Services (RMS). The inspection results are submitted to the RMS electronically, allowing registration to be completed online or in person.
Vehicles passing the inspection can proceed with the registration renewal process immediately.
For new or unregistered vehicles, Skaza’s Automotive can provide the necessary initial inspection. As with the e-Safety Check, blue slip inspection results are submitted to the RMS electronically, allowing registration to be completed online or in person.
Vehicles which do not pass the inspection cannot proceed with registration renewal until necessary repairs have been made. A vehicle that fails initial inspection can be presented for a re-test within 14 days without further fees. Vehicles presented for re-test after 14 days will require a full inspection attracting the full fee as stated by the RMS.
